Kristofer “Kriffy” Perez leads the strategic advisory practice at Global Paytech Ventures. Widely recognized for expertise in payments technology innovation, Kristofer leverages extensive experience in product strategy, design, and development to advise emerging payments and financial technology companies. Prior to joining Global Paytech Ventures, Kristofer held leadership and advisory roles at Mastercard Advisors, Visa, Boston Consulting Group, and IBM.

Over the course of a distinguished career spanning more than 120 fintech initiatives across eight countries, Kristofer has played a pivotal role in advancing payment technologies and has been awarded more than 15 patents. In addition to guiding innovation across the fintech ecosystem, Kristofer is a published author and a frequent commentator on payments, technology, and industry trends. Kristofer is also a sought-after speaker and guest lecturer, having presented at leading academic institutions including the Stern School of Business at New York University and the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of professional pursuits, Kristofer and his wife raise their two sons in New York City, and he is an avid race car driver.
