Profile
Christian joined the financial industry in 1997. He has been with Standard Chartered Bank, based in Singapore, since 2013. In his current roles he is responsible for the management and development of discretionary investment solutions as well as asset allocation advisory services across the bank. He is also a member of SCB’s Global Investment Council, which sets the bank’s macro and asset class views for Wealth Management clients globally.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered Private Bank, he spent 8 years with Deutsche Bank where he was multi-asset portfolio manager and earlier a quantitative investment strategist and investment specialist. Earlier in his career, he worked for ING Bank and BBVA.
Christian received a BSc. In Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires and an MSc. in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick.
Christian’s areas of expertise centre around multi-asset portfolio management, dynamic asset allocation, absolute return investing and tail risk hedging.
