Mr. David Chi Ho LI 李志豪 is the Chief Executive Officer of CACEIS Hong Kong, responsible for CACEIS’s activities in Asia-Pacific. He has with him a wealth of experience in the asset servicing business acquired over the course of an over 30-years career in the banking and IT sectors.
David LI, 54, holds a Bachelor's degree in computer studies from University of Southampton (GBR) and a Master's degree in management from Macquarie University (AUS).
He started his career in Information Technology at the Bank of China Group in 1987. In 1988, he joined the Hong Kong branch of Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, formerly known as Banque Indosuez, and worked at Indosuez Australia based in Sydney from 1993 to 1996. Before he left the Crédit Agricole group in 2005, he served in various capacities with Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, primarily in information technology management.
David LI re-joined the Crédit Agricole group and has served as Chief Executive Officer of CACEIS Hong Kong since 2011, with responsibility for CACEIS’s activities in Asia-Pacific and is also in charge of the overall strategic and business management of the relationship with Asian clientele. David oversees CACEIS Hong Kong’s operation, including HR strategy and ensuring clients in the Asia-Pacific region have access to a comprehensive range of support services. Under David’s leadership, CACEIS Hong Kong has grown and transformed from a representative office to a strategically critical hub for CACEIS both in term of servicing clients and also building Asian clientele.
