Ligia Torres is Chief Eexecutive Officer Asia Pacific for BNP Paribas Asset Management, having joined the company in July 2013 to head up the development of the Emerging Market business. Beforehand she was the U.K. Regional Chief Executive Officer for BNP Paribas Wealth Management.
With a career spanning close to 30 years in capital markets, including 13 years working with the BNP Paribas Group, Ligia Torres has held various managerial positions in London and Paris, including managing Interest Rates and Fixed Income.
Mexican born, Ligia enjoys travelling and is especially interested in modern art and history. She is fluent in Spanish, French and English.
