Steven Billiet, managing director, is Chief Executive Officer for JPMorgan Asset Management (Singapore) Limited. As country head, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s asset management business in Singapore. Moreover, Steven is also responsible for the asset management business in South and S.E. Asia and Korea. He joined the firm in January 2014.

Previously, Steven spent 19 years with ING, 12 of which in Asia where he held a number of senior roles such as, CEO of Investment Management Asia Pacific (Singapore), CEO of Investment Management Australia, CEO of Investment Management Taiwan and India Country Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management. During his tenure in Asia, Steven has not only been responsible for managing large local Asset Management businesses but also lead acquisitions and divestments in various Asian markets.

Steven holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Ghent and a Masters in Financial Management from the Vlerick School of Management in Belgium.
