Yan Pu is Head of Investment Management Group, Asia, responsible for building and leading Vanguard’s Asia-based investment team in providing investment solutions for clients in the region.

Prior to this, Yan was Head of Portfolio Review in Asia, where she oversaw product management and development, as well as capital markets. Before her relocation to Asia, Yan headed a team of portfolio managers and traders as the co-head of Americas Bond Index team under the Vanguard Fixed Income Group. She played a crucial role in strategic investment and product decisions as part of the Global Bond Index leadership team at the time and helped establish best practices for the global investment teams. Yan’s extensive experience as a former portfolio manager includes the Short-Term Bond Index Fund, Total International Bond Index Fund and Emerging Markets Government Bond Index Fund.

Yan joined Vanguard in 2004, and holds a BS in international business from Jinan University in China and an MBA in finance from Drexel University. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® certification.
