Jin is responsible for the publicly-traded equity portfolios in the Equitable Asset Management Group. He leads the equity group on the Public Investments team, managing public equity investments included in various mandates, including three balanced segregated funds, the Equimax Whole Life Participating Fund, and the investment portfolios supporting Equitable’s other lines of business.

Jin has over 12 years of investment industry experience, with expertise in quantitative investment strategy, equity ETF strategy, and multi-asset portfolio construction. Prior to joining Equitable in January 2023, Jin covered the ETF & Quantitative sector for BMO Capital Markets. His focus included ETF investment strategies and factor research. Jin produced customized portfolio construction screens to detect shifts in investment themes and identify suitable rotational opportunities. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, Business Option, from the University of Waterloo.
