Tyler is now in his third decade of working in the investment industry and has been with Forstrong since 2003. As the firm’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer, he oversees the Portfolio Management team and chairs the firm’s Investment Committee. He is passionate about bringing a global perspective to investors and delivering results to the firm’s clients.

Beginning his career as an analyst at Deutsche Asset Management in London, UK, Tyler has become a recognized innovator in the design and application of global macro ETF portfolios. He is widely quoted and interviewed by the financial media for his global investment views.

Tyler is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, with a double major in Mathematics and English Literature. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

Tyler doesn’t golf, shoot furry things or have a favourite scotch. He does, however, enjoy travel, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. Although a self-confessed urbanite, Tyler is seldom happier than hiking the mountains of his Canadian home province, British Columbia.
