I´m a Lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in international taxation in the Spanish private sector (International Tax Director of Spanish Multinational as Group Cepsa, Group Ferrovial or Group ONO/Vodafone). Currently I´m working in group Indra Sistemas SA, as head of international tax compliance. I also teach since 2009, Tax and Financial Law -accredited by the Spanish ministry of education-.

Since 2019 I´m in the list of academic experts (tax, state aid and fiscal policy) at the European Parliament.

I started my career at the European Commission as policy officer in DG TAXUD and in 2014. I returned at the European Commission as policy maker-Tax and State Aid Expert in DG Competition (fiscal state aid Unit).

I have been visiting professor, among others, at Harvard Law School (US), at the Université Librede Bruxelles (Belgium), at the Georgia State University (USA), at the Hong-Kong University, at the Shanghai University (China) or at the University College of London.

I have published books, chapter of books and more than 40 articles in the field of taxation and fiscal state aid. I frequently collaborate with economic media (radio and economic diaries).
