Andreas has 25 years of experience in the biopharma industry. He spent a big part of his career with EMD Serono where he led the chemistry organization for the company. More recently, he served as Entrepreneur-In-Residence with M Ventures, and CSO of Metabomed (a tumor metabolism company). During his career he has been involved in the discovery of more than a dozen compounds that advanced to clinical trials across oncology, autoimmune and neurodegenerative indications. In 2021 he co-founded Actithera, an early radiotherapeutics company with a unique chemistry platform for the design of theranostics with prolonged tumor retention.
