Carol Weisman has served on 40 boards and has been president of 9, primarily nonprofit. She is the author of eleven books on fundraising, governance and philanthropy. Her book Raising Charitable Children has been covered by The New York Times, Money Magazine, Parade Magazine and was the cover story for Scholastic Parent and Child Magazine.

Since founding her company Board Builders 25 years ago, she has consulted, trained and spoken in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, East Africa and one of her absolute favorites, Bermuda. Once while she was home in St. Louis, Carol tried to make fish chowder. It was a total disaster.
When not speaking writing and training, she trains with an elite group of runners called The Chaffing Dishes.
