Lilian is a partner at Temple Bright LLP in London where she handles financial services investigations and contentious regulatory matters both domestic and cross-border. She has acted for banks, asset managers and hedge funds, financial advisory firms, listed companies, commodity houses and other market participants. She has particular experience of internal and regulatory investigations, financial crime, competition, governance, conduct risk and supervisory processes including skilled person reviews, remediation programmes and regulatory notifications. Lilian was previously a Manager in the Enforcement Division of the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (and its predecessor, the Financial Services Authority) where she spent six years with a particular focus on retail structured products, senior management accountability, systems and controls and insolvency issues. Lilian then joined Barclays Bank, as a Senior Vice President, where she managed a significant portfolio of global investigations and regulatory enforcement matters across the retail and investment bank, including the high profile FX matter which settled with UK and US regulators in May 2015. Before joining Temple Bright in 2018, Lilian was Of Counsel at Simmons & Simmons in the City. Lilian qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2006. Lilian is a member of the UK Financial Services Lawyers Association.
