I have been living in Bermuda since 2000 and can proudly say that I received my Bermuda status in 2010. I am married to my husband, Robert Cardwell, a Police Inspector with the Bermuda Police Service and we have two wonderful children.

Originally, from Canada, I was employed with the Vancouver Police Department as a Detective/Constable from 1990 to 2000. After arriving in Bermuda, I joined Hamilton Trust Company and received my STEP designation in 2003. In late 2003 I was hired with Pioneer Alternative Investment Management (Bermuda) Limited as the Operations Manager. As of 2015 I have been Consulting.

In 2009 I earned a Master in Business Administration from the University of Leicester, in 2015, I received the CAMS designation from the Association of Certified Anti- Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) and in June 2016, I received the Cert IoD designation from the Institute of Directors. In 2017 I earned the designation of Certified Compliance Officer through the College of Regulatory Compliance and in April 2018 I received the Cert Dip designation from the Institute of Directors.

I currently sit on several Bermuda Fund Company Boards, the Board of Directors for Mount Saint Agnes, the executive board of the Institute of Directors (Bermuda Branch) and WindReach.
