The Freisenbruch-Meyer Group provides insurance agency, broking, underwriting and management services to the domestic and international Bermudian markets. Founded in 1980 by Michael Freisenbruch and Meyer Agencies Limited, we are proud to have developed into Bermuda’s largest local insurance intermediary handling all lines of insurance.
In June, 2002, our organization entered into an exciting new phase of its development with the introduction of ACE as a partner and the resultant establishment of Bermuda’s newest local insurer, Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Limited (“FMIL”). Chubb, formerly known as ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd. (ACE Bermuda), a subsidiary of ACE Limited, acquired a 40% equity interest in both Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Services Ltd (“FMIS”) and FMIL.
