Grant is a recent addition to the Informa Connect faculty, bringing his specialisation in leadership, technology, innovation and emerging/disruptive change across multiple industry sectors including life sciences.
Grant’s background is as an entrepreneur, CTO, and technology specialist, and he now works predominantly as a technology company mentor, facilitator, professional speaker, author, and trainer. He has delivered training across the world, both in-house at his decade at Google and to leading organisations such as Qantas, and the NHS, as well as other blue-chip clients. He has been delivering training for over twenty years on topics including leadership, team development, innovation, Big Data, AI, mobile technology, wearable devices and more. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of Cambridge as part of the Computer Science curriculum, and formerly taught at universities in Australia.
Grant is the author of seven books on a range of technology topics and has received acclaim from audiences and participants for the quality and impact of his teaching. He brings a wealth of practical information to his delegates, helping them to develop the techniques and strategies that consistently benefit delegates and their organisations.
Grant is board chair of BioSelf technology and a non-executive director of several technology startups. He is also co-founder of the One Vision Partners investment fund. Grant earned a PhD in computer science, and also holds an MBA specialising in technology management.
