Kathleen is the Founder and Managing Director of Fourth Element Capital, a healthcare technology venture capital firm. She is a Co-founder of Odonata Health, Inc. DyaMX, Inc., as well as FourMation Medical Works, a new healthcare technology business creation and growth company.

Kathleen is a proven healthcare executive with over 25 years of investing and business experience. Her extensive background in venture capital and growth equity investing include M&A transaction expertise, corporate strategy, business development, sales and marketing strategy. Active corporate board director, including audit and compensation committees. Prior to founding Fourth Element Capital, Kathleen was a partner at Thomas, McNerney & Partners where she led and managed portfolio company investments in the Thomas, McNerney & Partners fund portfolios with a primary focus on medical device technologies, drug delivery, diagnostics and connected devices. She is currently an advisor to Thomas, McNerney & Partners. Kathleen has worked with a range of companies from startups to large organizations in the highly-regulated healthcare industry.


She is currently serving on a number of corporate boards and serves or has served in board and advisory roles to a number of additional companies in her career. Kathleen's extensive community leadership activities include serving on several non-profit boards.
