Dr. Sven Dethlefs is the Executive Vice President, Global Marketing & Portfolio for Teva Pharmaceuticals, a global pharmaceutical company which integrates specialty, generic and OTC products, as well as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) within one enterprise. Mr. Dethlefs’ oversight includes global brand and franchise strategies, pipeline strategy for specialty, generic and OTC products and portfolio management, digital health initiatives and corporate business development. Previously at Teva, he was Global Head of Respiratory Medicines, a business unit with innovative programs for the next generation of digitally connected medications and biologics. Additionally, Mr. Dethlefs was previously General Manager, Teva Germany and Chief Operating Officer of Teva’s Global Operations and Quality organization. A German native, Mr. Dethlefs holds a PhD in biochemistry from the FU Berlin/Pasteur Institute Paris. Before joining Teva in 2008, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company.
