My undergraduate degree was in archaeology & anthropology at the University of Cambridge. Through this course i dveveloped a love of prehistory and fieldwork. In turn, this led to an MA in Mariitme Archaeology at Southampton, following a desire to engage in research on submerged prehistory. The breadth and potnetial of this topic astounded me, leading onto a Phd At the University of Cambrdige, looking at the Mesolithic and Neolithic of the East Anglian Fens, tracking sea-level change and human acitivity. This work required a mix of field and computational skils - a combination that i have always enjoyed and remains at the heart of my research today.
