Agnieszka Ason is a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, where she has published several papers, including studies on ‘International Gas Contracts’ (2022) and ‘Price Reviews and Arbitrations in Asian LNG Markets’ (2019). Agnieszka has over ten years of legal and commercial experience in the energy sector. She has worked on energy transactions and disputes with top-tier practices in Berlin, London, and Singapore and acted (as legal counsel and expert) in major gas and LNG price review negotiations and arbitrations in Europe and Asia. She has recently relocated to Poland and founded her own consultancy. Her advisory work is focused on gas, LNG, and hydrogen markets and contracts. Agnieszka is a regular speaker at industry events and has conducted multiple workshops for government agencies, trade associations, energy companies, and investment banks. She is an Honorary Lecturer on International Dispute Resolution at the Queen Mary University of London and a Senior Lecturer on Energy Law at the Technical University of Berlin. As a recognized authority in the LNG sector, Agnieszka serves as the Course Director for Informa’s Certificate in LNG.
