A look ahead to the global trends shaping 2022
We are excited to introduce the fourth of our LP Insights eMagazines covering different regions of the world this year. This LP Insights: Global eMagazine focuses on LPs views about private capital across the world.
We see how private debt has continued to grow through the pandemic, and how LP appetite is holding up for the asset class. With increased fundraising and activity, private debt is becoming an even more significant part of the private capital industry. We delve into ESG and impact investing and how they have moved right up the agenda in private markets for both LPs and fund managers and become an integral part of the market. With different regions prioritising different parts of the agenda, getting consistent global metrics is more of a challenge. We see how growth in the secondaries market has defied all expectations over the past year while emerging managers have faced more hurdles raising capital during the pandemic, and examine the reasons why.
