Maria Luisa Pineda, CEO at Envisagenics, gives winning pitch at Xcelerate Startup Pitch Competition

Envisagenics’ CEO Maria Luisa Pineda won second runner up for Best Pitch at the Xcelerate Startup Pitch Competition hosted by EBD Group and Xcelerate Insight during Biotech Week Boston in September, 2018. She speaks with Andy Burrows of KNect365 Life Sciences about the company she co-founded as the latest spinout of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. They are developing a predictive analytics platform using AI, RNA sequencing and high performance technologies to help scientists identify new treatments and prioritize drug targets that are both biologically relevant and technically feasible to reach clinical trials. The pitch competition is designed to give early stage companies exposure to possible investors and partners, and is judged by top venture capitalists and industry experts.
