Profile
Jan joined Sanofi, as Head of Publication Operations, Global & US Medical Operations in 2015 in Bridgewater, NJ. In 2017, she became responsible for the Diabetes & Cardiovascular GBU strategic scientific communications & publications activities, including inline products and pre-launch products under development. In this role, Jan collaborated with other Publication Professionals to assure compliance and consistency of publication processes across the GBUs. In 2019, Jan moved to Cambridge, MA to join our Rare Disease Team as Global Scientific Communications Lead, Pompe Disease, MPS I and Gaucher in support of pre- and post-launch activities worldwide.
Jan is a PharmD by training with approximately 7 years of academic teaching experience at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Illinois at Chicago in the field of Medical Information followed by >25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience at Searle, Pharmacia, Merck, Novartis, King, Labopharm, and Sanofi. Her pharma career has concentrated in Medical Information, Publication Planning, Medical Communications and the creation and review of Field Medical tools spanning the areas of pain/immunology, hematology, oncology, neurology, rheumatology, and Rare Diseases.
