Frances is a board-certified toxicologist with over 25 years of experience in conducting biological evaluation of medical devices and toxicological risk assessment. She earned a MPH in toxicology from the University of Minnesota, a MS in molecular biology from Simon Fraser University and a BS in biochemistry from Australian National University. In her careers at Boston Scientific and earlier at 3M, Frances has provided global toxicology support for many different types of products including cardiovascular implant and combination devices, dental devices, health care, industrial and consumer products. She serves as a primary voting member on ISO/TC194 WG01, WG09 and WG11. She is a US delegate on WG11.
