Robert Shulfer has almost 30 years of industry experience in the area of analytical chemistry, and currently is the Director of Toxicology and Chemistry at Abbott Global Biocompatibility, leading the development of scientifically robust strategies and managing the daily execution of the chemical characterization and toxicological risk on the biological safety to support the global submission of Abbott medical devices. Prior to this role, Robert was the Director of Abbott/Legacy St. Jude Medical Science and Technology Department, responsible for the material, analytical chemistry, biocompatibility, laboratory system, and CAD, and R&D Manager of Bioanalytical Lab at Boston Scientific.
