Aarti Sharma is a senior finance executive with over thirty years of experience in high profile large scale multinationals in the Financial Services industry. She is currently the Head Finance EMEA and Managing Director at SMBC Group EMEA, where Aarti oversees the finance function for a region with ~USD 200 billion balance sheet, providing strategic vision and guidance on financial control, tax, regulatory reporting, financial analytics, and finance transformation matters.

Aarti also serves as a Non Executive Director at SMBC Leasing (UK) Limited and SMBC Derivative Products Limited, where she leverages her proven expertise and diverse international experience in strategy formulation and execution, digital banking, business transformation, business partnerships, and new business lines.

She was formerly CFO, Head Treasury and Company Secretary at ICICI Bank UK PLC responsible for Finance, Treasury and Corporate Secretarial functions of the Bank. Ms. Sharma is an experienced and proven professional in Strategy formulation and implementation, Financial controls, Treasury, Corporate governance, Information Technology and Nurturing talent at various leadership positions across multiple geographies and functions. Before joining ICICI Bank UK PLC, Ms. Sharma worked with American Express for ten years.
