Gail is an experienced audit partner and was previously lead Global IFRS technical partner, responsible for insurance. She is a past member of the IASB IFRS 17 Transition Resource Group and EFRAG Insurance Accounting Working Group. Gail is currently chair of the ICAEW Insurance Committee and a member of the ICAEW Faculty Financial Services Board in the UK. Gail was admitted to the PwC partnership in 1997 and has worked with insurance companies for over 30 years. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and author of several publications. She works closely with clients and engagement teams on a number of the largest companies reporting under IFRS. Gail also has non-executive experience having served on the Council and the Risk & Audit Committee of the University of Warwick for 7 years.
