Iain Kirkpatrick is a Director in PwC's Corporate Reporting Services team, advising the firm’s clients and engagement teams on accounting for financial instruments, predominantly in the financial services sector across asset management, insurance and banking. He is a member of PwC’s Global Insurance Industry Accounting Group, who provide technical accounting interpretation of IFRS 17, ensuring consistent application on a global basis. He is also an expert in hedge accounting within financial services, particularly with respect to macro hedging for banking institutions. Prior to this, he was an audit engagement leader for a variety of insurance and asset management clients.
