As VP, Accounting Standards at Universal Music Group, Steve leads UMG’s application of IFRS for group financial reporting. He is responsible for the maintenance of UMG accounting policies and their compliance with IFRS, providing technical advice on complex accounting matters including adoption of new standards, and delivering analysis and support on significant transactions.

In previous roles at KPMG and PwC, Steve delivered specialist accounting and reporting advice to companies pursuing cross-border M&A, IPOs and debt transactions that involved US listings and registration with the SEC.
