Michael Harper

President, Hotel Lending at Peachtree Group

Michael is responsible for the entirety of Peachtree's credit platform for hotels, overseeing all aspects of the credit business.

Since joining Peachtree Group in 2014, he has led the team through more than 600 investments totaling approximaely $10 billion. Before joining the firm, Michael was Vice President of Finance for Access Point Financial, a hospitality lending platform, where he managed the company’s loan portfolio and guided originations to maximize yield through credit facility utilization. He began his career in hospitality finance with Specialty Finance Group, where he underwrote hospitality construction loans and oversaw the performance of the company’s $1.8 billion portfolio of hospitality assets.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in management with certificates in finance and accounting from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
