Michael is responsible for Northern Trust’s business across the Middle East and Africa, and also acts as the chief executive officer of Northern Trust Saudi Arabia. He has worked for the company across the Middle East for the past 22 years and relocated to Riyadh in 2013 to establish an office there.

Michael has 25 years of industry experience within asset servicing and has worked within operations, client services, relationship management and sales in the US, Europe and Middle East.

He joined Northern Trust in 2005 where he has held a number of senior roles. These include establishing the Northern Trust office in the United Arab Emirates where he was the chief representative. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Michael held a variety of asset servicing positions starting in New York with Bankers Trust, relocating to Europe in 1996 where he worked with Deutsche Bank and HSBC.

He is also the Deputy Chairman of The Northern Trust Company of Saudi Arabia and the Chairman for the CMA Approved Person Committee Three (APC3).
