Will Hensley joined Coulton Creek Capital as an Associate in 2015. In his role as Managing Director, Will assists in sourcing new opportunities, as well as underwriting, due diligence and portfolio management duties.

Prior to joining Coulton Creek Capital, Will spent the formative years of his early career gaining valuable insight during the Great Recession and the following recovery in commercial banking at Flatirons Bank. During his time at Flatirons Bank, Will was involved in developing and implementing underwriting and portfolio monitoring standards during a period in which the bank’s assets grew over 300%. In addition to underwriting and portfolio management, Will was instrumental in the oversight of distressed assets, including avoiding any write-downs in the portfolio.

Preceding his experience in the banking world, Will was employed as an Analyst at Trajan Capital, a family office backed mezzanine investment platform focused on real estate development projects.

Will holds a BS in Business Administration, specializing in finance, from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.

Will lives in Denver with his wife and daughters, and in addition to his interest in business, Will maintains a passion for cooking as a classically trained chef.
