George Heyworth is the Enterprise Risk Manager at Cantor Fitzgerald & BGC Group, where he supports a comprehensive Risk & Resilience Framework across the organisation. This includes providing Second Line of Defence (2LOD) advice, oversight, and challenge, ensuring risk practices are aligned and robust. His primary responsibilities include assisting in the firm’s risk policies and frameworks, managing end-to-end Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), and supervising the Risk Event process to support the Firm and Board identify, assess and manage its Operational Risks.

Supporting the firm’s governance structure, George oversees the production of Management Information (MI), enabling Senior Management and the Board to make informed, strategic decisions that align with the firm's risk policy and appetite.
