David Smith has worked for HM Revenue and Customs for over 35 years. For the past 20 years he has worked in the field of international exchange of information, taking on various operational and policy roles. David currently works in the International Collaboration and Transparency Team in HMRC’s Business, Assets and International Directorate, with particular responsibility for automatic exchange of information under the Common Reporting Standard and FATCA.
