Mathias is Head of Unit in the Danish Tax Agency (DTA) – he is responsible for a team of 33 that primarily handles applications and refunds of withheld dividend tax. Additionally, he is responsible for the DTA’s international outreach in the field of dividend tax. He attends numerous conferences with private actors (investment companies, custodian banks, etc.), EU-legislative bodies as well as other European tax authorities and ministries. Mathias has a vast network of international colleagues, both in the private and public sector, that work within the field of dividend tax and associated areas.

Mathias holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Aarhus University, is a member of a young leaders networking group and was recognized by a prominent Danish business newspaper on a list of “Top 100 Young Leaders in Business”.
