Following a win in the Innovation and Adoption of Technology category at the CrewConnect Awards in 2018, OSM (and its team) have been nominated no fewer than 3 times for the 2019 CrewConnect Awards!

Adonis B. Donato (RAdm-PCGA, Master Mariner, Business Executive) - Lifetime Achievement Award, CrewConnect Awards Nomination

An early achiever, Adonis is proudly Filipino. From being the captain of the Crew of Cadets and class president, to being a corporate executive and social reformer. Adonis has been active in all major maritime organizations and elected (always re-elected) to senior positions - including a nomination of a Party List for a seat in the Lower House of Congress.

Technically, he is retired. Practically, he never will be.

Nordic Medical Clinic - Newcomer of the Year, CrewConnect Awards Nomination

The Nordic Medical Clinic wants to challenge the maritime industry and the idea is also to establish a 'pre-employment medical' clinic. 'Pre-employment medical' should not only be a 'FIT or UNFIT' system. There should be something in between – which is the 'care' for the seafarers. The Nordic Medical Clinic's commitment is to provide health and wellness training - a pro-active approach on health care.

The Nordic Medical Clinic's vision is to have healthy and health-empowered seafarers who will support the well-being of their family and society, by also providing a holistic approach to health and wellness.

The clinic is the latest initiative from OSM and the inspiration has been to offer a first class, executive check-up experience for its seafarers.
