Eric Barker, RPh, is the Chief Health Strategist Officer at True Rx Health Strategists. Eric is responsible for improving medication affordability and access while prioritizing the health and wellbeing of True Rx patients. With over 25 years of experience as a multi-state licensed pharmacist, he specializes in patient-centered pharmacy benefits and clinical pharmacy management. Eric consults with clients on strategies to optimize pharmacy benefit programs, managing costs and improving outcomes for employees and their families. He offers ongoing support by providing industry insights and ensuring that pharmacy benefits meet the unique needs of each organization. In 2024, Eric chaired both the American Diabetes Association State of Diabetes Event and the PBM Contracting Summit, underscoring his leadership in healthcare. A respected speaker and author, Eric's recent best-selling book is Benefits Revolution: The Next Generation of Employer-Sponsored Healthcare. He holds a degree from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and is board certified in geriatrics and psychiatric pharmacy.
