Jay Weaver has more than 18 years of health plan and pharmacy benefit management experience, serving in a variety of leadership roles including Chief Pharmacy Officer where he oversaw PBM contracting and vendor management. His current role is the lead for payor strategy and contracting for PantheRx Rare Disease Pharmacy. He previously consulted for health plans on PBM procurements, strategy and medical drug benefits for a large national benefits consulting house. Jay earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and 2 years of postdoctoral residency, with a concentration in pharmaceutical management, and is a longstanding member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP).
