Responsible for development and oversight of Clinical, Pharmacy, and Strategic Pricing Business Units for MedOne, Nate joined in June 2014 as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, was promoted to Vice President of Clinical Services in August 2016, and further promoted to Chief Pharmacy Officer in January 2025. Prior to joining MedOne, Nate practiced as a clinical pharmacist at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Wash., a part of the northwest-based Franciscan Health System. Nate is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, American Pharmacist Association, Iowa Pharmacy Association, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Nate serves on the Iowa Pharmacy Association House of Delegates, Practice Transformation and Legislative Affairs Advisory Committees. He currently serves on the Sister Water Project Committee working to increase the access of safe water in Tanzania and Honduras. He is a past member of the Greater Dubuque Development Corp. Future Leaders committee and University of Iowa Genesis Alumni Board. Nate graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 2012 with a Doctor of Pharmacy. After completing his PharmD, he pursued a post-graduate pharmacy practice residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash., the flagship hospital for the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. Dr Nate also holds a Certificate in Theology from Capernwray Hall, Carnforth, England. Nate is based in Dubuque, Iowa with his wife, Dr. Emily Harold, DVM and their 2 collies, Evie and Aero. They serve as a foster home for multiple collie rescues.
