Terrance Killilea, Pharm. D., provides integrated clinical and fiscal solutions to health plans, employers, and labor trusts. Terry forges and delivers strategies and solutions that consider all aspects of health care, from clinical patient care quality to fiscal bottom line.
Dr. Killilea developed, operated, and expanded cost management and evidence-based clinical programs (including formulary rebates) for a large PBM and a national multi-state Blue Cross Blue Shield plan. He was the originator of (and built with a great team) the internal PBM, RegenceRx. Prior to Regence, Dr. Killilea was Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer, of a NYSE-traded national PBM.
During his career, Terry served as a clinical director in a 500-bed hospital; formulary and clinical officer of a large pharmacy benefits manager (PBM); and Vice President of a health plan. Currently he is Sr. VP, Clinical/Fiscal Integration for USI.
Terry served six terms on the advisory board of Managed Healthcare Executive and served as chief clinical and pharmacoeconomic strategy officer for Biopharma Partners, where he was responsible for managed healthcare strategic planning for bio-oncology and pharmacogenomic sciences. Terry has published numerous clinical research and managed care articles and several book chapters.
Dr. Killilea earned his B.S. in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California, San Diego and his Pharm. D. from the University of California, San Francisco. He served his Residency in Clinical Pharmacy at V.A., Stanford University in California.
