Beth Kelley is an Acting Deputy General Counsel at HHS and serves as the Chief Legal Officer for CMS. She previously served as an Associate Chief Counsel at the FDA and Senior Counsel in HHS’s National Complex Litigation and Investigations Division. Before joining HHS, Beth spent eight years at the Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, where she prosecuted crimes.
