Danielle Lavallée is a bilingual legal and compliance expert with 25 years of experience. She practiced law at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and served as General Counsel and Privacy Officer for Toronto Hydro prior to joining Philips Canada as Head of Legal and Compliance in 2013.

Danielle provides pragmatic legal advice to support Philips’ diverse business lines, including healthcare technology solutions and consumer products. Her areas of expertise include corporate law, ethics and compliance, pension law, privacy, anti-trust, consumer protection, M&A, corporate governance, employment law, litigation management and regulatory compliance. She is a member of Philips Canada’s Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, Executive Pension Committee, and North American Executive Compliance Committee.

Danielle also Co-Chairs Medtech Canada’s Compliance Committee, advising and supporting Canada’s medical technology sector.
