Profile

Raj Malik is an accomplished, values-driven healthcare leader and currently serves as Vice President, Federal Affairs & National Strategic Partnerships for Medtech Canada, the national association representing Canada’s innovative medical technology industry. Raj came to this role with extensive experience in the Canadian healthcare sector working for a handful of leading multi-national Medtech & Pharma organizations including Pfizer, Baxter, Covidien, and Medtronic. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions in Sales & Marketing, Health Systems, Government Relations, and Senior Management.

While at Covidien/Medtronic, Raj served as the Chair of Medtech Canada’s Ontario Committee, received Medtech Canada’s President’s Award for Outstanding Member, and was the inaugural Chair of Medtech Canada’s annual signature event, the MedTech Conference, in both 2015 & 2016, transforming it into a must-attend event for the Canadian medical technology industry.

Raj is a past Board member of the Healthcare Supply Chain Network (HSCN), an organization dedicated to establishing and promoting Canadian healthcare supply chain standards, leading practices, and greater alignment between supply chain partners. He currently serves as Vice-Chair for the Board of Directors of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), the professional association for Canada’s 4,000+ health leaders and industry executives, and is Chair of the College’s Corporate Advisory Council.

Raj holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology & Physiology from the University of Toronto and has earned his Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation through CCHL.
