Stephan is Health Care Compliance Officer for the MedTech sector at Johnson & Johnson Canada Inc. since 2013. Stephan has over 30 years of health care industry experience in senior executive leadership and general management roles at US and European based multinational companies that include Novo Nordisk, Warner Lambert, Pfizer, Medtronic and Bausch + Lomb

In his capacity as a past MedTech Canada (Previously MEDEC, Medical Devices Canada) Board of Directors member as well as the current Co-Chair of the Compliance Committee of MedTech Canada, he has led the design, implementation and monitoring of the Canadian MedTech industry Code of Conduct.

Stephan has completed numerous Compliance & Executive Leadership Development programs including the Advanced Health Care Compliance Certification program at the Seton Hall Law School in New Jersey, Centre for Creative Leadership in North Carolina, the Ivey school of Business in Ontario, The Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania as well as the Leadership Management Institute’s Effective Motivational and Strategic Leadership programs.

Stephan is an active member of the Society of Corporate Compliance & is actively involved as the Canadian Medtech representative in the APEC SME Forum as well as the Inter-American Coalition for Business Ethics for the MedTech Sector.
