UPDATE REGARDING MASKING AND VACCINATIONS

We are committed to creating an event where our community, partners, staff and local workforce can have an enjoyable and successful experience, conduct business effectively and do all of this in safety and comfort. Please take a note of some new requirements and efforts we’ve made to ensure this. We will continue to update these as needed based on any changing requirements.

Informa Connect Life Sciences requires all in-person attendees to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

We will be making a visual in-person check of vaccination proof on site. We do not wish to transmit or store health data electronically, and so all checks will be done in person. This means we are unable to do this in advance. Proof of vaccination can be the vaccination card, a photo or photo-copy of the vaccination card, or a letter from a doctor confirming vaccination has taken place.

Please note that medical/religious exceptions will only be considered if requests are received in advance of the event. Requests for medical exceptions should be submitted to Tayla.thomas@informa.com in advance of the meeting as further documentation will be required to gain entry.

In line with local requirements, masks are not required. We encourage those who wish to wear them, based on personal risk profile and preferences, to do so.

The health and safety of our customers and staff remain our #1 priority. Our event has been organized in accordance with the CDC’s guidelines, Informa’s AllSecure Health and Safety standards and other local state and city regulations. Should you have any questions or issues regarding our policies, please contact registrations@informa-ls.com.

Suggestions For Hygiene

Considering the recent virus outbreaks, we encourage all attendees at our event to follow WHO guidelines for general hygiene.

At our event, we will be prominently displaying reminders about good hygiene practices throughout the facility. For more detailed information please visit www.who.int. These include:

  • Please wash your hands frequently - Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or if your hands are not visibly dirty use the alcohol-based hand sanitizer available at the Informa registration area or in the exhibition hall.
  • Practice respiratory hygiene - When coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue – discard tissue immediately into a closed bin and clean your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water.
  • Maintain social distancing - Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and other people, particularly those who are coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
  • If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
