George Pickering, Vice-President & Head of Legal for Respiratory, Immunology & Inflammation R&D and R&D Platforms, GSK, London. George is a City-trained solicitor with over 25 years’ legal experience working both in-house and in private practice based in London and Brussels. The vast majority of his experience has been gained advising organisations active in the life sciences sector with particular expertise in intellectual property licensing, pharmaceutical research and development as well as the promotion of medicinal products. George is currently responsible for legal support for GSK’s Respiratory, Immunology & Inflammation pipeline as well as the R&D-enabling platforms which include target discovery, medicine design, data platforms, clinical operations, CMC and clinical supply chain.
