Hilary is qualified lawyer in England & Wales of over 20 years, and has worked within the biopharmaceutical industry since 2003.
Hilary specialises in regulatory law and product commercialisation and joined BioNTech in 2021 to provide support to all areas of the business, including R&D, business development and commercialisation. Hilary’s prior in-house roles were at Pfizer and more recently at Gilead / Kite where in addition to international regulatory law she led the legal support for Kite’s cell therapy business for the EUCAN region including the launch of two CAR-T products. Hilary also spent time in private practice at Bristows in London. Hilary studied for her Law LLB at the University of Southampton and attended Nottingham Law School.
Hilary’s practice covers a broad range of topics including regulatory strategies and exclusivities, orphans, paediatrics, ATMP, CAR-T and personalised medicine, SoHO, PV, manufacturing and supply chain, GXP compliance, data privacy, RWE, business conduct / ABAC, IVDs, medical devices, AI and software, and policy matters.
