Paulo advises clients on competition matters, including mergers and behavioural investigations on abuse of dominance or concerted practices.
He has over 10 years of experience in all areas of competition. This includes dealing with complex merger or Article 102 investigations at the EU Directorate-General for Competition and the main national competition authorities in Europe. He has worked with a broad range of clients, from basic industries to digital platforms.
Prior to joining CE in February 2022, Paulo worked for more than 10 years in an economic consultancy firm focused on competition economics.
Paulo’s work has been published in the Antitrust Magazine of the American Bar Association and in the Journal of European Competition Law and Practice.
