Tine is a Senior Associate in A&O Shearman's Life Sciences Practice.

She specializes in life sciences patents litigation and advises clients on regulatory issues and commercial transactions in the life science sector. Her litigation experience includes both representing clients before the Belgian and European courts and assisting clients with multi-jurisdictional proceedings. She also advices clients on issues on the entire life cycle of a medicinal product, MDR and IVDR, digital health solutions, real world data and transparency regulations) and is specialised in agro(bio)tech and food and feed regulations (new breeding techniques and Nagoya Protocol).

She also has a sound life sciences policy understanding thanks to her secondment to the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries Associations legal team, where she focused on regulatory and IP policy.

Recent highlights of her practice include multi-jurisdictional advice on European plant and seed legislation and genetically modified organisms, clinical trials, complex cross-border data protection matters and medical devices. Tine also conducts intellectual property litigation before the Belgian courts and advises clients on non-contentious matters in that field of expertise.
