Queenita Fernandes has a Medical Degree (BHMS) from Maharashtra State University of Health Sciences India and is a Certified Healthcare Practitioner (CHC) & Patient Safety Professional (CPPS).

She has 19 years of experience in healthcare industry and has been with Medtronic for 9 years in different roles & capacities. Her expertise includes medical safety, regulatory writing, complaint handling, clinical research to name a few. In her current role as Senior Medical Safety Manager, she lead Medical Safety supporting one of the four major product portfolios within Medtronic in the minimally invasive therapeutic group of devices. Medical Safety is a trusted partner recognized for patient centricity and accountability ensure informed consent decisions are made by defined, visible and connected group of experts in a proactive manner throughout the product life-cycle. Part of her team focuses on post-market literature surveillance as a proactive effort to identify patient safety events.
