Rob Wilson serves as Treasurer at Better.com, where he oversees funding strategy, liquidity management, and capital markets execution for one of the nation's leading digital mortgage platforms. Recognized as a HousingWire Finance Leader, Rob has spent nearly two decades at the intersection of mortgage and capital markets managing balance sheets from $1 billion to $30 billion. He previously worked at Rocket Mortgage where he served as Treasurer and played a central role in the company's landmark $1.8 billion IPO, executed entirely remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, while expanding the firm's funding capacity by $8 billion in under four months and delivering more than $200 million in cost savings. Earlier in his career at Ally Financial, Rob led structured finance and global funding initiatives across several auto asset classes and countries, executing billions in US securitization transactions along with funding a $12 billion Canadian balance sheet. A Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Michigan State University MBA, Rob brings a rare combination of large-scale transaction experience, institutional relationships across banking and private credit, and a track record of building high-performing treasury teams in dynamic, high-growth environments
